Because Marketplace Valet respects your privacy, we do not sell, rent, trade, or unnecessarily share with any other organization, the personally identifiable information (“personal information”) you supply to us or organizations we work with, such as Amazon. As part of our business operation, we gather certain types of personal information related to product sales and for various other Marketplace Valet activities, operations, and business purposes. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, manage, and store the personal information that we receive. This Privacy Policy governs any personal information received by Marketplace Valet as well as any use of our services.

This personal information may include, but is not limited to, name, contact information, postal address, city, state, province, zip/postal code, email, phone number, shipping information such as shipping address, and IP address is some cases. Marketplace Valet uses this data to fulfill its ecommerce logistics and fulfillment services. Similarly, if you reside in California, this summary of the Policy is designed to meet the requirements of current California law as well as the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

Identity of the Data Controller

Under the GDPR, a data controller is the organization who dictates how—and for what purpose—data will be used. A data processor carries out processing of that data on behalf of a data controller that collects your information. Normally, Marketplace Valet is not a data controller. However, for certain data that we collect, Marketplace Valet may be the data controller.

In most other instances, Marketplace Valet functions as the data processor. The data controller is responsible for deciding the purposes for which personal information is used and processed, and the means by which such processing is done. Thus, it is the data controller’s responsibility to inform you in advance of the processing of your personal information and to explain your privacy rights. You should make any inquiries and/or requests about your data directly to the actual data controller, if you have that information. In order to facilitate your contacting the actual data controller, if you request it, Marketplace Valet will pass along your inquiries and/or requests to the relevant data controller. As a data processor, Marketplace Valet will follow the instructions we receive from our data controller customers in responding to your request.

You may contact Marketplace Valet by writing to Marketplace Valet at the address shown in the Contact section of this Policy, or by sending an email to privacy@marketplacevalet.com.

Marketplace Valet does not disclose personal information to any third parties for direct marketing purposes.
